What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small files saved by your browser. We also use localStorage, a browser storage technology that is not a cookie but can remember settings on your device.

Essential Storage

We use essential browser storage to remember your cookie choice. It helps us respect your preference and does not enable analytics.

• frosttext:cookie-consent (localStorage): saves your choice and when it was made. The choice expires after 180 days.

Optional Analytics

Only after you accept analytics do we load Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and interactions with our tools. Analytics data may include online identifiers and technical information; it is not necessarily anonymous.

We do not intentionally send text entered into FrostText tools to Google Analytics.

• _ga (Google Analytics): helps distinguish browsers; typically lasts up to 2 years, depending on configuration.
• _ga_* (Google Analytics): maintains analytics session state; typically lasts up to 2 years, depending on configuration.

Your Choices

You can accept or reject optional analytics. If you reject or have not chosen yet, we do not load our analytics tags.

Use “Change cookie preferences” on this page or in the footer to change your choice. You may also clear cookies and localStorage in your browser. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics and does not undo earlier processing.

Third-Party Services

Google provides Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. If you consent, Google may process analytics data outside your country, including in the United States, subject to applicable data protection rules and safeguards.

This policy describes our current analytics setup, not advertising cookies. If we add advertising or other optional technologies, we will update our notices and request consent where required.

We may update this policy when our technologies or legal requirements change. The latest version and date will appear here.
